Birth of a World Sport As homage to the inventor of Total Ball, Jose Marcelino Garcia, Total Ball was launched in his home land El Bierzo, Spain.  A tribute to the culture and people which raised him, whose appreciation later was to extend to his beloved friends and family in the United States - Bronx, New York. The first Total Ball practice - and thus the first time Total Ball was ever played - was on January 7th, 2000, in the sporting grounds of the Town Hall of Carracedelo in the region of El Bierzo, province of Leon, Spain. The first Total Ball game ever played was on February 5th, 2000, in Villaverde de la Abadia, El Bierzo, Leon, Spain.  See photo above.  Participating atheletes came from Villaverde, Villadepalos, San Juan de Paluezas, Carracedelo, Posada del Bierzo, Villamartin, Dehesas and Ponferrada.

Nacimiento de un Deporte Mundial

Como homenage al inventor, Jose Marcelino Garcia Blanco, Balon Total fue iniciado en su tierra natal del Bierzo, Espana.  Un tributo a la cultura y gente que lo crio, cuyo aprecio mas tarde se extendio a sus queridos amigos y familia en los Estados Unidos - el Bronx, Nueva York. El primer entrenamiento de Balon Total - y por lo tanto la primera vez que se jugo Balon Total - fue el 7 de enero de 2000 en el poligono deportivo del Ayuntamiento de Carracedelo en la conmarca del Bierzo, provincia de Leon, Espana. El primer partido de Balon Total fue el 5 de Febrero de 2000 en Villaverde de la Abadia, El Bierzo, Leon, Espana. Vean foto.
